After signing your contract, there are a few details we need before your first bill - to make sure your charges and any reliefs you're entitled to are set up correctly from day one. Most customers can complete their setup in under 10 minutes.
Step 1: Log in to the tem portal
You should have received your login details by email after your contract was accepted. Click the link in that email, set your own password, and your account is activated.
If you can't find your login details or need to reset your password, follow these steps.
Need to add a finance team member so they could process RED invoices? Email us at [email protected] with their name and work email and we'll get them set up with portal access.
Step 2: Add your kVA capacity
In the portal, go to Account > Management and add your kVA capacity for each site. We use this to calculate your capacity charges - adding it before your first invoice means your charges are right from the start.
Step 3: Add your direct metering contracts (if applicable)
If you hold direct contracts with a Meter Operator (MOP), Data Collector (DC), or Data Aggregator (DA), upload them in Account > Management so we don't appoint our default providers on top.
If you don't hold direct contracts, you can skip this step - we'll appoint providers on your behalf.
Step 4: Add your exemptions (if applicable)
Go to Account > Exemptions and upload any certificates that apply to your business:
VAT reduction - if your business qualifies for the 5% reduced rate of VAT on energy
CCL exemption - if you hold a PP11 Climate Change Levy supplier certificate
EII exemption - if your business holds an Energy Intensive Industry exemption certificate
What happens next
Once your account details are in:
Your contract goes live on your contract start date
Your first invoice is issued within 10 working days of month-end
Your first payment is collected via Direct Debit within 10 working days after the invoice
