TNUoS stands for Transmission Network Use of System. It’s a regulated charge paid by all electricity users in the UK - from homes to large businesses.
It helps fund the national electricity transmission network, which moves power around the country. TNUoS is set once a year by the National Energy System Operator (NESO), and the rate depends on your site’s band, which is based on your sites voltage and capacity.
At tem, we will always pass this charge through at cost, with no markup, and show it as a separate line on your bill.
