Your energy bill doesn't just include power costs. It also includes Non-Commodity Costs (NCCs) — like policy costs. When a business is linked to a renewable generator through P442, some of those NCCs can be reduced on that portion of your bill. That saving is what we call your RED Plus benefit.
The contract variation formally connects your energy use to a specific generator under P442, which is what allows us to activate that saving for your site.
